    This is slightly out of the way for me but whenever I am in the area, I always like to venture into Taco Lucas. The service is friendly and very family oriented. The restaurant itself is very basic but the food is fabulous. I have had several items off of the menu-- quesadilla, tacos, taco salad, paups

    I stopped in to order for dinner- the service was slow, and the papusa was not homemade and tasted really bad! I ordered the cheese and bean and the beans tasted spoiled and looked unrecognizable- I'm a pescatarian so I was nervous because it looked more like pork than beans! Never again.

    Taco lucas is excellent, a bit pricey and you definitely want to call ahead but their pupusas are better than most I've had in el Salvador and their torta is amazing. Any time I want something south of the border in the dmv it's my go to.
